My Volunteer Place - Student Volunteer Network
My Volunteer Place is a student volunteer network partnering with nonprofit organizations, schools, and the community to provide our youth with a network of service opportunities and volunteer relationships where students (8th grade through college) can connect with causes they care about, increase involvement with the community, get recognized for serving those in need, and share volunteer stories, photos, and experiences.
Student Volunteers
Get involved with volunteer opportunities, connect with friends who have similar community service interests, personalize your MVP volunteer transcript, and share your volunteer stories, photos, and experiences.
Nonprofit Organizations
Student Volunteers become adult volunteers. If you are a nonprofit organization or volunteer organizer, register to partner with MVP and post volunteer opportunities for students in our My Volunteer Place network. It's easy to approve student volunteer hours in the automated system.
Schools, Colleges and Faith-Based Organizations
Students earn community service hours and connect with approved nonprofit organizations. If you are a secondary school, college, or church and want to facilitate students giving back to the community through an interactive online environment, then MVP is just the place for students to do that.
Business Community
If you share our vision where students help build community relations and want to support our youth, partner with My Volunteer Place as a corporate partner, scholarship sponsor, or through your in kind or monetary donations.
Our Mission
My Volunteer Place provides a network of volunteer opportunities where student volunteers and nonprofit organizations connect with each other through an interactive online environment and students help others in the community, get service hours logged and approved, build a volunteer transcript and strengthen self-confidence and leadership skills.
Events & Programs
My Volunteer Place programs include opportunities for students to participate in philanthropy without regard to race, socioeconomic status, gender, experience, or ability. The programs aim to be representative of the diversity in our community. Structured service projects in the local community allow for flexibility and the opportunity for each participant to feel safe, welcomed and valued.
