What is 'My Volunteer Place'?
Simply said… My Volunteer Place is a nonprofit student volunteer network designed to help students connect with local nonprofits to promote civic engagement in our youth.
We provide access to a network of student volunteers and nonprofit organizations where students can search and signup for posted volunteer opportunities in the community, get service hours logged and approved, build an official volunteer transcript, and do good deeds by serving the community.
Students:

About My Volunteer Place...
— Our Story
MVP’s passion project was conceived around the idea of wanting the volunteering process to be easily accessible to students. We believe valuable relationships could be formed through a portal creating a bridge between students and nonprofit organizations. Our vision for the community service completed by student volunteers is to build merit in the future and produce lasting and meaningful connections.
Our aim is to make the process of logging the community service hours worked and the approval of hours completed as simple as possible so students can easily volunteer for the causes they care about most and become long-term stewards of our community.
Our hope is for students to experience a true sense of independence and self-confidence that can come from those who redirect their focus to show compassion for others and give of themselves for the betterment of someone else.

Words from the founder….
While My Volunteer Place 501c3 was not setup legally as a Christian organization, our philosophy has been based on core Christian teachings from the beginning of its conception. Our founder has created MVP with the belief that we should live our lives through the guiding principles of loving our neighbors, showing compassion and humility in serving others, and being guided by integrity and justice among other Christian teachings. Regardless of your beliefs, our hope is for all our MVP members to experience serving others with grace and sincerity. May God bless you and your loved ones.
